Pending budgetary approval,
the Department of Sociology invites applications for
part-time and full-time Lecturer positions to begin
January 1, 2010 or July 1, 2010 to teach undergraduate courses.
Positions are approved for one year with the possibility
of renewal. The salary is commensurate with experience (minimum $43,336).
Minimum qualifications include a Ph.D. in Sociology, two years of University
level teaching experience, and demonstrated excellence in teaching. We are
looking for lecturers in all fields including Technology and Society,
Networks, Innovation and Entrepreneurship, New Media, Information Society,
Comparative Societies, Organizations, Work, Globalization, Global Work and
Organizations, Consumption, Environment and Society, Climate and Energy
Security, Disability Studies, Corporate Social Responsibility, Immigration,
Social Stratification, Family, Medical Sociology, Popular Culture, and Social
Psychology. Application deadline is December 1, 2009.
