The University of California, Berkeley and the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (LBNL) seek applicants for an assistant professor, tenure-track faculty position in experimental physical chemistry beginning in the fall of 2010. This position is jointly funded through the Berkeley campus and the Helios Project at LBNL (for more information see: http://www.lbl.gov/msd/helios_site/index_helios.html). Creative candidates who show extraordinary promise or accomplishment in research and teaching in experimental physical chemistry are specifically sought. Research plans with a focus broadly on solar energy, including topics such as solar fuel, photocatalysis, and artificial photosynthesis is essential.
